WILDERNESS - DAY 3
After breakfast we visit the Stormsriver Mouth in the Tsitsikamma National
Park ( I ).
We want to show off it’s beautiful stretch of coast line, that is also considered a national treasure and incorporates the Tsitsikamma, Knysna lake and Wilderness area.
The mosaic of eco-systems from the ocean to the mountains incorporates pristine beaches, rugged cliffs, Cape indigenous forest, Fynbos, rivers and lakes to make this one of South Africa’s most sought after attractions.
Towering the skies are big Yellowwood & Stinkwood trees, magical rock formations, deep gorges & the largest “no take” marine reserve of it’s kind in the world.
Famous for the suspension bridge crossing the Stormsriver mouth and the world famous Otter hiking trail.
We then make our way through to Wilderness, on route you have the opportunity of jumping off the Bloukrans bridge ( O ), highest bungee jump bridge in the world or doing a 12 000 ft skydive in Plettenberg Bay ( O ). We will end the afternoon with canoeing ( O ), for the not so brave or daring, or kloofing ( O ) for those who live on the wild side of life or just a lovely beach walk along the Indian Ocean.
Kloofing is when you hike to a number of spectacular waterfalls, where you can jump from the top into a beautiful plunge pool.
Overnight: Wilderness ( I )
